The MBR4200 is a 4x2Mb/s (4xE1) radio which provides a reliable solution for customers requiring higher capacity than the MBR2200. It is a 2U indoor-unit which has proven to provide a reliable, long haul voice and data transmission solution in even the most difficult environments.
The Westica MBR4200 has a four 2Mb/s G703 traffic interfaces available in either 75R or 120R input impedance. Key operational parameters are software configurable from the front panel switches and LED display menu system or via a Laptop. Monitoring and control of both the "near" and "far" radio can be achieved by using the MBR Manager software. The modulation technique used in the MBR4200 is 16QAM, thereby providing an effective balance of bandwidth and system performance.
Integration to large networks is readily achieved as the radio has two SNMP management, allowing for direct connection and SNMP routing. The MBR4200 can be provided in 1+0 or 1+1 configurations. The 1+1 configuration is 3U.
